What it Takes to be a LADY

There is no way you expect to be called a lady if you are caught hanging out in these places.... No guy will take a second look at a girl who hangs out anywhere near this place, it signifies doom and loss of hope. If you hung around here, run for your lives before it's too late
YOU KNOW WE LADIES HAVE ISSUES when it comes to how we are addressed. When we are called girls we go up in arms and stand akimbo, kifua mbele, just to put the point across. When we are called women we twist our mouths and lift our noses as if that word smells most foul. Woe unto you if you are a tout and you innocently usher a female customer with the words, karibu mama, you will not have it easy. Men, if you want to be on the safe side, the term is LADY.
What you have to know however is the term lady has to be earned. There is no way you expect to be called a lady if you are caught hanging out in these places.
Dark, dingy pool table joints
There is nothing as cute and sexy as a girl leaning over the pool table and hitting those balls. It does not matter if she is playing right or just hitting balls randomly, boys just love it. The chick on the other hand will be feeding on the attention from the guys. If this is what gives you a kick as a ‘lady’, please have the decency to take your party to a decent pool base. You do not expect to be seen chucking out from a dirty, dark, dingy base which reeks of heavens know what and still be called a lady.
Shady Bars
It is universal, the world is stratified, and so are drinking dens. If you ask around, the level of respect men will give women who take to the bottle is not as high as the amount of respect that will be given a teetoler.
That said, if you are female and you drink, please go get high in respectable bars. The sight of a shoeless hung over chick dragging herself home after a long night is an eyesore. To hammer it in, if you are that chick who patronizes low end bars and is seen early in the morning with disheveled hair, please do not expect to be called a lady. Don’t blame me, blame the system.
Jobless/Formless Corner
As the name suggests, the jobless corner is for hapless lads who have lost all hope in life. They hang out there and think of their depravity. Should I continue to explain why any lady worth her salt should steer clear from this base?
No guy will take a second look at a girl who hangs out anywhere near this place, it signifies doom and loss of hope, if you are a girl and this is where you while your day away, run for the hills and secure yourself a chance to be called a lady before it’s too late.
Being a lady takes a lot of work. It is not all about royalty, being classy or refined. You can have all three but you still won’t be a true lady. Being a lady is all about respecting who you are.
Respect yourself and do whatever you do in a decent environment. You do not want to look back several years from now and curse the day you did some crazy things. If you are doing your ‘thing’ just make it worth the memory.
